| Wings Over Addison (Dallas) - Memorial Day 2006 Cavanaugh Flight Museum Note: The Cavanaugh Flight Museum houses more than a dozen airworthy warbirds. Among those at the museum are three winners at Oshkosh including the only airworthy F9F Panther, a restored combat veteran B-25 and the last airworthy He-111 (CASA). Other WWII aircraft include a Spitfire Mk VIII, Bf109 (CASA), FM-2 Wildcat, TBM Avenger, P-40 N, P-47D, FG-1 Corsair and P-51D. Included in static display are the protagonists in Korea ( F9F, F-86, MiG15) and Viet Nam (F-4C, F-105G, MiG-17 and MiG-21). A completely restored and airworthy OV-1D Mohawk and H-13 helicopter are flown regularly. Rides are available on T-6 or Stearman aircraft by advance arrangements. The Cavanaugh Flight Museum is not to be confused with the Frontiers of Flight Museum at Love Field. Cavanaugh is located on the Addison Airport near the North Dallas Tollway.
